DAY 1 ARRIVE GHANA International flight arrives in Ghana After clearing customs and immigration formalities, you will be met, assisted and transferred to your hotel. Rest and relax. Overnight at Novotel Hotel.

DAY 2 ACCRA City Tour of Accra to see the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial, Independence Arch, National Theater and the W.E.B. Dubois Pan African Center. After Lunch visit historic Jamestown and meet the fishermen and women of Salaga Beach. Overnight at Novotel Hotel.

(B) DAY 3 CAPE COAST Depart to Kakum National Park for a Nature Walk in the Rain Forest. Experience the Aerial Canopy Walkway giving you a birds-eye view of the flora and fauna. Continue to Cape Coast. Tour of Cape Coast Castle a World Heritage Site. Overnight at Coconut Grove Resort.

(B) DAY 4 CAPE COAST Visit the Volta coastal village with traditional industries and Volta style houses. Tour Elmina Castle, a World Heritage site where slaves were held before being sent to the New World. In the afternoon walk through the historic town of Elmina. Overnight at Coconut Grove Resort.

(B) DAY 5 KUMASI Depart to Kumasi the realm of the Ashanti Kingdom. We pass through Obouasi, the location of the Ashanti Goldfields-one of the richest mines in the world. In the afternoon, take an excursion to the village of Bonwire, the locale where the famous Royal Kente Cloth is made. Overnight at Miklin Hotel.

(B) DAY 6 KUMASI Visit the craft villages of Pankrono (pottery), Ahwiaa (woodcarving), and Ntonso (adinkra) cloth. Continue to the Kumasi Cultural Center followed by lunch at a local restaurant In the afternoon tour Kumasi Central Market-the largest in West Africa followed by a visit to Manhiyia Palace for an audience with the Ashanti King or members of his Royal Court. Overnight at Miklin Hotel.

(B) DAY 7 BUABENG FIEMA MONKEY SANCTUARY Depart Kumasi for Buabeng Fiema where sacred monkeys live in harmony with the community. You will have the chance to play with the monkeys. In the evening drive to Lake Bosomtwi where you will cruise on the lake. Overnight at Miklin Hotel.

(B) DAY 8 KUMASI - BUSUA BEACH RESORT Depart KUMASI for Busua Beach resort in Ghana's Western region for water sports and other activities. Take canoe ride to visit a Busua Island. Go on a walking tour to visit Fort Metal Cross at Dixcove. Over night at Busua Beach resort.

(B) DAY 9 ACCRA Departure for Accra, arriving early afternoon in Aburi for lunch and a visit to the 100 year-old Aburi Botanical Gardens. Mid-afternoon: Visit the woodcarvers and drum makers of Aburi before continuing to Accra with a brief tour of the campus at University of Ghana at Legon. Overnight at Novotel Hotel.
