5 Days tour (Baderan Besuki – Cikasur – Cisentor – Summit – Taman Hidup – Bermi)

Day 1 For the first 5-hour hiking, we pass through plantation area dominated by tobacco and corn plantation. Next, hiking for 4 hours ahead, we are in the middle of rain forest of Argopuro with its large valley. Set up a tent and make a camp on the First Water Spring. Altitude approx. 1750 a.s.l. Length of route about 7 km

Day 2 We begin entering to the conservation area, the more dense populated forest. Amazingly, that forest converts into a turf of large savanna. Occasionally, we can see at glance few of deer and forest pig. Set up a tent and make a camp at Cikasur. Altitude approx. 2200 a.s.l. Length of route about 5km.

Day 3 During stay at Cikasur, we can see a large area of savanna combined with its reserve Sungai Kolbu, walking to the flatten terrain toward Cisentor. Next, we are heading for the summit of Argopuro dominated by casuarinas vegetation. Altitude approx. 3100 a.s.l. After plenty of observation time, we continue to the next summit of Rengganis dominated by wild kemuning trees bitang trees. Altitude approx. 3000 a.s.l. Head back for Cisentor. Altitude 2400 a.s.l. Length of route 11 km.

Day 4 Thankfully, our walks today are relatively flat passing through a stream of Aing Kenek, little source of water. We see the great hill of Argopuro. From our 5 hours-first start, we are reaching to the dense tropical forest with mosses. 3 hours later, we arrive to the area of Taman Hidup lake. Altitude 1900 a.s.l. Length of route 8 km.

Day 5 Early in the morning, we can walk around Taman Hidup lake, fishing or swimming, Encircled by tropical forest in the area of the lake, sometimes we can see long-tailed monkey. We depart at about 10 and walk down to Bremi village. The route is steep downward and walking through a vegetation of tropical forest. In the next 2 hours, we arrive to the local plantation area, lush of dammar trees and coffee plantation along our both sides route. We close to Bremi village. Total length of route 5,5km. Back to Jember. Tour ends.
