Day by day itinerary: Day 1: We will pick you up in either Bondowoso/ Banyuwangi and transfer to Ijen plateau and pos paltuding. If we arrive early, we can go around to other highlights e.g. waterfall, natural hot spring, coffee mill, coffee plantation or savanna. Stay at the guest house of Pos Paltuding or set up a tent and make a camp. In the evening, we make a camp fire and chill out.
Day 2 Wake up early before 4am and start hiking to the Ijen crater, for normal walk it takes 1,5 hour. Hopefully, we can reach to the rim of the crater at 5.50. And on the right view point we can see the sunrise. Next, we down to the crater floor and make some observation to the sulfuric fumarole and mining workers on the site. After plenty of observation time, we go downward and get relaxed on the base/cafe . Heading back for either Bondowoso / Banyuwangi. the tour ends.
Notes on itinerary: Flexibility: We place weight on having enough flexibility in our programs. This enables us and the group to adjust for minor changes in the tour program while on location, depending on the weather, trafic, and the preferences of the group. Such changes will be minor and generally to the benefit of the participants.
