According to how much time you have, you can do the Gobi trip in 7 days, not staying at the sand dunes for 2 nights. There are many activities to enjoy on your Gobi adventure. Riding a camel over sand dunes and any of these cliffs would be very adventurous. Hiking on the sand, reach the highest point of Khongoryn Els, horse riding in the Yoliin Am or Eagle’s Mouth valley around the glacier. Camp in the middle of nowhere, sleep under the stars. See the amazing sunrise and sunset from the cliffs. Meet the random nomads & enjoy their amazing hospitality and be offered tea and traditional Mongolian snacks. There are many possibilities for an active & adventurous trip. Ask your endless questions from your guide.
Day 1. UB- BAGA GAZRIN CHULUU Visit Zorgol Khairkhan Mountain and then drive to Baga Gazrin Chuluu, a rock formation in the middle of dusty plains which is worshipped by locals.
Day 2. TSAGAAN SUVARGA (White Stuppa), about 30 meters tall and 100 meters long and shaped strangely as a result of a wind and water erosion for thousands of years. From a distance, it can be mistaken for the ruins of an ancient city. It down, it offers a magnificent view with rainbow colors.
Day 3 DALANZADGAD, Continue south to Yolyn Am, or 'Vulture's Mouth'. YOLYN AM VALLEY Hike through the valley to reach the ice that remains there year-round. Then drive west along the edge of some of the largest sand dunes in the Gobi.
Day 4 KHONGORYN ELS. Continue to Khongoryn Els and have the rest of the day free to explore these amazing sand dunes.
Day 5, KHONGORYN ELS-a full day at the sand dunes.
Day 6. BAYANZAG- famous for the number of dinosaur fossils and eggs that have been found there.
Day 7. Around Erdenedalai sum. Camp or stay with the random nomads.
Day 8. Drive back to UB.

I like supporting nomads. I don't like big tourist camps.
