Airport - Yangon International Airport (Mingladon)(IATA: RGN, ICAO: VYYY) is located approximately 30 minutes north of the city centre. The easiest way to get to and from the airport to the city is by taxi but it is also possible to get a pickup or public bus from outside the airport.

Yangon Chinatown offers a wide selection of street vendors, where colonial coins, paintings, and other souvenirs can be easily bought. Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scott Market) is an excellent source to buy Burmese handicrafts, such as wood carvings or lacquerware.
