Having taken my guests in the airport of Ankara, we arrive the city of Aksaray where is beginning city of our tour. Having a good sleep before the tour is required.
In the morning, we starte the tour with the small mosques and historical places of the city. "Crooked Minaret" is one of the main places that worths to be seen. It is like "Pizza Tower" in Italy.
Then we continue our way and we reach the biggest valley of the world after the "Grand Valley" of U.S Of course it is "Ihlara Valley" which has 14 km length and sometimes 120 m depth. It is necessary to take a view before going inside it. The river in the middle of it gives a freshness to the visitors of place. It has 99 corners and you have chance to see some of the 100+ historical churches inside the valley. There are too much frescs on the walls of the churches It is so dazzling!! We are having lunch at one of the restaurants inside the valley. Those are really tasteful.
As we are going our way on, Agzikarahan comes accross where is built by Seljukians in thirteenth century. On our way, we go inside some small underground cities but these are only few of the mains :) We approach the city of Nevsehir and we stay a night here.
The next morning we start a new adventure with the small places in city center. About 11.a.m we go to Uchisar where the highest point places in. You can see all Cappadocia here in a very good view. We see the wine factories on our way and we visit one of them.
Fortunately, we are welcomed by the Lovely Goreme Here you will find a very nice place and many historical & geological buildings/places. With the effect of volcano Mount Hasan, impressive rocks are occured. People had lived in the past with various aims. The open air museum and Pigeon Valley are worth to be in.Then we have dinner in one of the most beautiful restaurants of Goreme. It is also one of the best aspects of this town that there are many hotels of which rooms are caves!! But very impressive; warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Also very comfortable!!! Breakfast is at hotel and we go to Ortahisar and Urgup.
Here you can see the very beautiful "Fairy Chimneys". The taste of unique Urgup Wine!! We go on our tour by Cavusin. Here there is also another historical Church. And Avanos where is famous with the "hand made Potteries" We have chance to see the factories even unless we buy items. We go to Aksaray; to our hotel from here directly. And with the wish of seeing you again ;)
